The 2014 US Open National Playoffs Men's Championship has so far been completely predictable. The Women's Championship has been anything but.

On the men's side, the top four seeds met in Sunday's semifinals, with the top two seeds prevailing. No. 1 Sanam Singh defeated Ronnie Schneider, 7-6, 6-1, and will meet defending champion Jeff Dadamo in Monday's final. Dadamo advanced by defeating former Top 100 player and Men's Championship No. 3 seed Jesse Witten, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.

It will be two unseeded players meeting in the women's final, with 15-year-old Michaela Gordon prevailing over No. 5 seed Jacqueline Cako, 6-1, 6-2, on Sunday, and former University of Tennessee standout Caitlin Whoriskey defeating No. 4 seed Ashley Weinhold, 6-4, 6-1. Gordon, the youngest player in either the men's or women's field, has lost just 11 games in three matches.

The winners of Monday's US Open National Playoffs singles finals earn wild cards into the US Open Qualifying Tournament, slated to start Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home of the US Open.
